Caitlin Murray is a Government Affairs Lead Specialist at Progressive Insurance, where she manages legislative, regulatory, and political affairs across several states, including Florida. She works closely with state legislators, insurance regulators, industry stakeholders, and trade associations to advance Progressive's public policy objectives and address emerging issues affecting the property and casualty insurance industry. In addition, she serves on several boards, contributing her expertise to industry and policy-focused organizations.
Prior to joining Progressive, Murray served as Senior Regional Vice President-Southeast for the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC), where she advocated on behalf of member companies throughout the region. Earlier in her career, she was Director of Government Affairs for the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation and a Policy Advisor to the Secretary of the United States Department of Transportation.
Murray brings more than 20 years of experience in government relations, public policy, regulatory affairs, and political advocacy. Her background includes leadership roles in state and federal government, political campaigns, legislative offices, and the insurance industry.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Interdisciplinary Social Sciences from Florida State University.
